Based in Turin, the newly formed company began their production range with the tipo 51, a four cylinder motor mobile which began production in nineteen zero eight. Between nineteen thirteen and nineteen eighteen Lancia produced the Theta 35 HP, the larger variation of the Epsilon, which came with the innovative electrical lights and start motor. Between nineteen twenty two and nineteen thirty one Lancia produced the Lambda, the first ever load bearing monocoque body type. Over eleven thousand of these innovative models were produced, which also came equipped with the first independent suspension.
